Wildlife Art by artist :- Crawhall, Joseph (1861 – May 1913)

Crawhall, Joseph.

Born in Northern England, Crawhall was a specialist wildlife artist (as well as painting some other subjects, such as race-horses and landscape). His work was strongly influenced by the impressionists, and like them was rejected by the art establishment at the time.

While travelling in Morocco and Spain, he changed from oils to watercolor, to obtain a lighter range of color.
