Wildlife Art by artist :- Morris, Reverend F. O. (c 1845 - 1890)

Illustrations by Benjamin Fawcett (1808–1893).

Morris, Reverend F. O. (Illustrations by Benjamin Fawcett)

Born in Northern England, Fawcett was one of the finest nineteenth century woodblock colour print makers. He illustrated many books on wildlife, including some on birds, as well as moths and butterflys, with text by Reverend F. O. Morris, under who's name the books are more commonly known. Neither partner seems to have made much money from the books published.
